LVLup brought JETRO's Japan Pavilion to life at CES — one of the largest international showcases on the show floor, hosting dozens of Japanese startups in Eureka Park.

From concept to teardown, we handled it all: design, fabrication, logistics, and onsite production.

The space included:

Dustborn & shadows of the damned remastered

Project: Custom Exhibit Design & Build
Location: PAX East, Boston, MA

The Challenge

Bring two very different game worlds — the gothic action of Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered and the indie road-trip vibe of Dustborn — into one connected booth that felt cohesive, not crowded.

Shadows of the Damned

A hand-painted stained-glass mural set a dark, gothic tone. At the center: Grasshopbar, a fully custom speakeasy-style bar with backlit bottles, neon signage, and a built-in gameplay screen. Leather sofas and a vintage rug turned the space into a lounge attendees didn't want to leave.

Dustborn

A totally different mood — brick, steel, and warm light built around an oversized character mural of the game's tour bus crew. Custom signage, road-trip props, and a row of gaming stations gave fans a hands-on demo zone true to the game's world.
